“志愿者” means an individual who performs services in support of the College’s mission without expectation or receipt of compensation, 好处, or consideration for the services provided.

The College recognizes the importance of 志愿者s, and the 校董会 authorizes 志愿者s to serve at the College in accordance with this Policy and applicable laws and regulations.

志愿者s must be assigned to and serve under the supervision of a College employee. 志愿者s are subject to applicable College policies and procedures governing the conduct of personnel, including but not limited to Employee Discrimination, Harassment or Retaliation Policy 420.00, Substance Abuse and Alcohol Policy 424.03, and Conflict of Interest Policy 431.00. A 志愿者’s services may be discontinued by the College at any time, for any reason.

I. Limitations on 志愿者s

College employees may not perform volunteer services for the College that are identical or similar to their duties as an employee.

Individuals under the age of 18 may not perform volunteer services for the College without the permission of a parent or guardian, and direct supervision by a parent or guardian may be required by the College unless through a 赌钱app可以微信提现 course or activity.

II. Background Checks on 志愿者s

志愿者s may be required to undergo a background check. 志愿者s who will be driving College vehicles or transporting themselves or others on behalf of the College may be required to undergo annual driver’s license and motor vehicle record verification.
